A Savior Is Born | The Quiet Miracle of Christmas

A Savior Is Born | The Quiet Miracle of Christmas

Wednesday Word 12/23: A Savior Is Born

“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you;
he is the Messiah, the Lord.” -Luke 2:11 (NIV)

Good morning FAITH Fam,

On this Christmas Eve, I hope you can pause for just a moment and remember what today is really about.

Before the lights, before the gifts, before the gatherings... there was a quiet night.

A humble setting.
A young mother and father.
And a baby laid in a manger.

God didn’t arrive with fanfare or force. He came gently. Unexpectedly. Wrapped in flesh.
The Savior of the world entered humanity not through power, but through humility.

And that matters.

Jesus was born into a world that was weary, broken, and waiting; not unlike ours today. He didn’t wait for everything to be perfect before He came. He stepped right into the mess, the darkness, and the uncertainty to bring light, hope, and peace.

That’s the miracle of Christmas.

The birth of Jesus reminds us that God keeps His promises.
That He sees us.
That He came close.
Emmanuel - God with us - wasn’t just a name, it was a declaration.

Tonight, as you prepare your hearts for Christmas morning, remember this:
Hope has a name.
Peace has a presence.
Salvation came quietly, but it changed everything.

Reflect & Respond

  • What does the birth of Jesus mean to you this year?

  • Where do you need His peace or presence in your life right now?

  • How can you make room in your heart for Him this Christmas?

A Christmas Eve Prayer

Jesus, thank You for coming to meet us right where we are. Thank You for choosing humility, for choosing love, and for choosing us. As we celebrate Your birth, help us remember the depth of the gift You gave...Your life, Your hope, and Your salvation. Fill our hearts with peace tonight and draw us closer to You. Amen.
